Where to Look
Open Bob Wallet, wait for the status bar to finish syncing, then go to Portfolio and open Transaction History. That view should show wallet activity such as received HNS, sent HNS, auction transactions, name actions, and other confirmed wallet transactions.
Check Sync First
Bob needs current chain data before it can confidently show balances and history. Original Bob full-node mode can take many hours, or even a day or two on slower computers, because it syncs a full Handshake node. Newer SPV-first builds are lighter, but they still need the wallet sync to finish before history is reliable.
Make Sure You Are in the Right Wallet
If you use multiple Bob profiles, restored from a seed phrase, or moved between original Bob and Bob LearnHNS, confirm you opened the wallet profile that actually owns the funds or names. A different profile can sync perfectly and still show no history because it is a different wallet.
Try a Wallet Rescan
If Bob is synced but the transaction list is still empty or incomplete, use the wallet rescan option in Settings if your build shows one. A rescan asks Bob to rebuild wallet history from chain data. Keep Bob open until the scan finishes, then return to Portfolio and check Transaction History again.
When It Still Looks Wrong
Share these details with support so someone can help without guessing:
- Whether Bob says it is synced, and the block height shown in the status bar.
- What Transaction History shows: empty, partial, stuck loading, or an error.
- Whether this is the original wallet or a wallet restored from a seed phrase.
- Whether you are using original Bob full-node mode, Bob LearnHNS, or another Bob build.
- Any error message shown when sending, receiving, bidding, renewing, or transferring names.
Advanced Checks
Advanced users running original Bob with the bundled Handshake node can inspect wallet status with command-line tools such as wallet info, transaction listing, or rescan commands. Only use command-line checks if you already understand which Bob data directory and wallet you are inspecting; otherwise, support can help you avoid looking at the wrong wallet.
