Pick the build that matches your computer. macOS is the only platform with two choices — use Apple Silicon unless you know you have an Intel Mac.

Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4)

Most Macs sold since late 2020. Check Apple menu → About This Mac → Chip.

Stable 2.3.3 release

v2.3.3 replaces the previous 2.2 release line. Both macOS builds are Developer ID signed, notarized, stapled, and Gatekeeper verified.

  • Wallet aliases have a visible Resolve alias action and clearer result/help spacing.
  • Authenticated HNS TXT wallet records now work independently of HIP-2 TLSA status.
  • The app displays Bob LearnHNS v2.3.3 in its sidebar.
  • Confirm the downloaded filename includes 2.3.3.
  • Verify the SHA256 checksum on the GitHub release page before opening the installer.

SPV helper migration included

Bob now defaults to https://spv.learnhns.com/hsd. Installations using Bob’s retiring HandshakeAPI default migrate automatically, while custom SPV helper providers remain unchanged.

Not sure which Mac build?

  1. Open the Apple menu and choose About This Mac.
  2. If you see Chip: Apple M1/M2/M3/M4, download Apple Silicon (arm64).
  3. If you see Processor: Intel, download Intel Mac (x64).

Moving from original Bob to Bob LearnHNS?

Need the older 2024 release line?

The official Bob Wallet (2024) builds are unchanged since that release. Most users should start with Bob LearnHNS unless you specifically need the legacy line.
